#TeamFish love chorizo, and fortunately it works beautifully with fish.

Our Cornish Catch with Chorizo Crumb has become a firm favourite with customers looking for something quick, easy and packed with flavour. We always prefer to use Cornish Hake when it's available, but fishing is seasonal and the weather doesn't always cooperate. Rather than compromise on quality, we'll simply choose the best fish available on the day. That might be Hake, Haddock or Cod, depending on what's looking spectacular when the boats land their catch.

Each generous portion is lightly brushed with a little mayonnaise, allowing our crunchy panko crumb blend to adhere to the fish, before being topped with spicy chorizo and a touch of smoked paprika.

The result is a wonderfully crisp, savoury topping that complements the fish beautifully without overpowering it.

We've deliberately kept the seasoning light and don't add any extra salt, so if you prefer things a little saltier, feel free to add your own before serving.

Did You Know...?
Hake, Haddock and Cod may all look similar once filleted, but each has its own character.

Hake is slightly firmer and sweeter, Haddock has a distinctive flavour all of its own, whilst Cod is prized for its large delicate flakes. The good news? They all work brilliantly with chorizo.

Preheat your oven to 180°C Fan.

Place the fish onto a sheet of baking parchment or foil. We recommend gently folding up the edges to create a shallow tray, helping to capture all those delicious chorizo oils and cooking juices as the fish cooks.

Cook uncovered for 18-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish.

The crumb should be golden, the chorizo lightly crisp and the fish beautifully flaky.

Serving Suggestions
Delicious served with garlicky roasted baby potatoes and roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine.

A handful of fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon just before serving will lift the flavours beautifully.
