One of the original stars of our legendary kebab range and a firm favourite with customers year after year.

Chunks of Cornish Monkfish are coated in our wonderfully fragrant Herbilicious marinade, packed with garlic, herbs, sweet pepper and olive oil. The result is a light, fresh and incredibly moreish kebab that allows the quality of the fish to take centre stage.

Monkfish is the perfect fish for kebabs. Its firm, meaty texture holds together beautifully on the barbecue and happily stands up to bold flavours without losing its own character.

Serve with a simple salad, roasted vegetables or some warm crusty bread and let the barbecue do the rest.

Big chunks of Monkfish, plenty of garlic and absolutely no regrets.

Did You Know…?

Monkfish is often referred to as the ‘poor man’s lobster’ because of its firm, meaty texture. Unlike many fish, Monkfish remains beautifully chunky during cooking, making it one of the best species for kebabs, curries and barbecues.

It’s also one of the few fish that regularly wins over people who claim they don’t like fish at all.

If fish and lobster had a love child, it would probably be Monkfish.

Cook over a medium-high barbecue for around 4-5 minutes, turning regularly to ensure an even cook. For best results, place the kebabs on a small sheet of foil with a raised edge to catch all the delicious juices released during cooking.

Also fantastic cooked under the grill or in a hot oven.

Don’t overcook them - fish is at its best when it remains beautifully moist

Chunks of Cornish Monk in Herby Marinade Marinade contains: 73% vegetable oils (rapeseed, sunflower), vegetables (garlic, bell pepper), salt, olive oil, natural flavourings, herbs, dextrose, pepper.
