We're seeing some amazing landings with so much variability in price that I'm keeping website ordering switched off for a few more days. There have been huge price drops across the board with fishermen catching big volumes on Wild Bass, Wild Bream, all the flat fish and lots more. ***Larger sizes may well be available, but because of the variability and availability of sizes, we're not taking online orders. We don't want you to pay for your fish in advance incase the price drops or we need to jiggle the weight a little. If you would like to pre-order a larger fish, email us at info@passionateaboutfish.co.uk and we'll get your order in the system***

One of our favourite flat fish, brill has become a lot more popular over the last couple of years. Quite similar in looks to turbot, brill have a really delicate flavour. We buy larger fish which can be cooked on the bone or filleted. A single fish will serve between 2 and 6 people depending on the size.

One of our regular customers, Chef Tom, developed this especially for us. It’s proved very popular with customers and actually works well with any white fish fillets

Allow 4-500g of whole fish per person - remember you will lose around 50% of the weight of the fish if you have it filleted
