Prawn Kebab - Super Garlicky

If there’s one kebab that’s developed a cult following at The Fish Shop, it’s this one.

Made using our huge XL peeled King Prawns, each skewer carries just four prawns because, quite simply, that’s all we can fit on. Coated in our famous Super Garlicky marinade, these kebabs are rich, aromatic and utterly irresistible.

The marinade combines garlic, herbs, onion and a little seasoning to create a flavour that’s bold without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the prawns. As they cook, the garlic softens and caramelises, creating the sort of aroma that attracts neighbours from three gardens away.

They’re quick to cook, impossible to ignore and have become a summer staple for many of our customers.

Whether you’re feeding a crowd or treating yourself to something special, these are guaranteed to disappear quickly.

Did You Know…?
The bamboo skewers we use are known as Teppo Gushi, a traditional Japanese skewer. The name translates roughly as ‘gun barrel skewer’ a reference to their distinctive shape and design.

Proof that even a humble skewer can have a story.

Cook over a medium-high barbecue for around 3-4 minutes, turning regularly to ensure an even cook. For best results, place the kebabs on a small sheet of foil with a raised edge to catch all the delicious juices released during cooking.

Also fantastic cooked under the grill or in a hot oven.
