2 chunky tuna steaks
Egg noodles for 2
Thumb size piece of ginger, peeled and finely chopped
red chilli, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
Mange tout, carrot strips, or your favourite stir-fry veggies 2 spring onions, sliced
White and black sesame seeds 4 tbsp.
dark soy sauce Sesame oil
Place noodles in pan of boiling water and cook for 3 mins or as instructed on pack, then drain.
Heat sesame oil in a wok. Fry ginger, chilli and garlic for 2 minutes. Toss in veg and stir fry for 2 more mins before adding noodles and soy sauce. Stir and keep warm.
Coat each face of tuna with the sesame mix. Add oil to a frying pan and once super-hot fry on each side for 1-2 mins (depending on how rare you like it cooked)
Once cooked cut tuna into 1cm slices and serve on top of the noodles.
