Hake has become a firm favourite at the Fish Shop and really popular with all of our customers. Caught by the South West gill-netters the quality of the catch is outstanding. Hake needs careful handling as it can be damaged easily, but the Cornish catch really is spectacular. Smaller fish of around 2-3kg are filleted and the large fish over 5kg are cut into loins and steaks
