Spanish Select Grade Saffron If you’re making proper paella, this is the magic ingredient. Our Spanish Select Grade saffron comes from farmers in La Mancha, central Spain, one of the world’s most respected saffron-growing regions. The threads are deep red, intensely aromatic and give that unmistakable golden colour and warm, honeyed fragrance that defines great Mediterranean cooking. This is select grade which is just one level below the very top tier, So, you get all the beautiful colour and aroma you want, but at a more sensible price point. Perfect if you actually want to use saffron regularly rather than keeping it in the cupboard 'for best'. A tiny pinch is all you need to transform: ~ Seafood paella ~ Fish soups & stews ~ Risotto ~ Casseroles ~ Even certain desserts No artificial colour., just proper saffron threads that do exactly what they’re meant to do.
