Widely regarded as the UK’s leading caviar expert and the first caviar importer to introduce DNA testing to guarantee the provenance of King’s caviar, Laura was first introduced to fine foods as Director of European Purchasing for Philippine Airlines. In 2004, Laura decided to use her many years of expertise to start her own business and with the support of her late husband, Executive Chef, John King and children Holly and Harry, King’s Fine Food was born. It is now the largest importer of caviar to the UK, thanks to Laura’s dedication and commitment to quality and provenance.
Laura’s daughter Holly joined the team in 2015 and proved to be an invaluable asset to the business, thriving in the role of Sales Executive and building her own undisputed reputation as the Caviar Princess
Caviar is regarded as the world’s most luxurious food so it is hugely important to know exactly where it comes from, how it is produced and that in fact, it is the ‘real deal’.
Found in many of the finest Food Halls and restaurants in the UK, King’s Caviar has full traceability, is DNA-tested and labelled to all CITES requirements. This gives their customers the additional confidence to know that, not only is the quality of the caviar exceptional, it has been through rigorous checks to ensure its provenance.
